Our Story

Like all great relationships, we started out as friends, bonding over games, bad jokes, and being silly together. Somewhere along the way, we fell in love with how easy it was and how natural it felt to be ourselves around each other.

Things moved pretty quickly and naturally from there. We became incredibly close, started building a life together, met each other's family, and fell in love with every small detail about each other.

The proposal was very us. When we knew we wanted to get married, we bought a ring together and just kept it at home with no plan in mind, until one slightly drunk night at home, when Dan decided the time had apparently come (most definitely a silly joke sealed the deal), dropped to one knee in the middle of our living room, and asked the question we both already knew the answer to.

And here we are now, planning the big day and getting ready to start the next chapter with all of our favourite people.

The Weekend

    Ceremony at 3:00pm, followed by a BBQ, drinks, a live band and dancing into the night.

Close family and friends are staying at the villa from 2nd–5th July. Once we've received everyone's RSVPs, we'll help coordinate nearby accommodation for our other guests, including shared options for those happy to stay together. We'll be in touch with recommendations and all the details once we know who'll be joining us.

Dress Code

Smart but cool. Shorts are recommended, as it will be hot. Bring a swimsuit for the pool.

Fly into Tunis–Carthage Airport (TUN). We'd recommend Tunisair or Nouvelair, both of which fly direct from London Gatwick or Heathrow.

We want the weekend to be accessible for everyone, so we'll help coordinate nearby accommodation for guests who aren't staying at the villa. Once we know who's joining us, we'll share recommendations and options to suit different budgets.

FAQ

Can I bring my kids?

Kids and plus-ones are very welcome! Just let us know numbers when you RSVP so we can plan the villa, catering and seating properly.

What will the weather be like?

Expect hot, sunny, dry weather, with typical daytime highs of 30–32°C, dropping to a warm 22–24°C in the evening, and a light sea breeze off the Mediterranean. Rain is very unlikely in early July.

Do I need a visa for Tunisia?

As nearly everyone joining us is British: no, you don't. UK passport holders don't need a visa for stays in Tunisia up to 90 days, just make sure your passport is valid for your travel dates. If you're travelling on a different passport, please double-check the requirements for your nationality.

What should I pack?

Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat, your swimsuit, light smart-casual outfits for the day and evening, comfortable shoes (some outdoor/uneven ground at the villa), and a light layer for the evening breeze. Tunisia uses the European-style two-pin plug (230V), so bring an adapter if you need one.
